The Collège de Sociologie is a group of French intellectuals (including Georges Bataille, Roger Callois, Pierre Klossowski) that met in an informal discussion series in Paris between 1937-39. This symposium, organised by the Shakespeare in Philosophy project and Garrick’s Temple to Shakespeare (building on the work of Kingston Shakespeare) brings together thought and influence of the Collège de Sociologie group and Shakespeare.
